GoodCall is an excellent example of a new type of company that has been popping up all over the internet and providing freelance contractors with an excellent way to supplement their work at home income. The entire company is made up of a sales team that works from the home. They have created a platform that invites businesses from a variety of industries to outsource their sales task. Once GoodCall has the specs from the company, they take a look at their current team of freelancers and assembles a team to work for the company.
What You Do While Working for GoodCall
You should know that when you get accepted onto the GoodCall team, you won’t be an anonymous person. In addition to providing a professional profile, you’ll also have to be willing to create a complete bio for yourself which GoodCall clients can read and a high quality picture of yourself. Putting the profile together takes time, but isn’t difficult.
GoodCall works with the client to assemble a database of industry specific businesses which you’ll than cold call. A great deal of effort goes into creating this list and the businesses you’ll call will have been selected because there is a record that they worked with, or purchased a product from a similar company in the past. Most of the calls are very successful and generate revenue for all parties.
Getting the Job
Before rushing through the Good Call’s application process, you should know that the company is looking for a pretty specific group of people. Freelance contractors who have worked in sales of some sort will be given preference.
In order to impress everyone involved with GoodCall you need to have a great phone personality, and you have to be able to engage people quickly and be ready to improvise is one of the calls doesn’t follows the script. The more personable you can be while making calls, the better.
The one thing I don’t like about the current GoodCall system is that they don’t have training program. The only thing they provide is a surprisingly short brief that lists the client you’ll be working for. In order to create a good sales pitch, you’ll have to do some research before you can start calling the names on your GoodCall list. In addition to the initial “cold call” you’ll most likely have to make some follow up calls.
When working for GoodCall, you can reasonably expect to make between $10-18 each hour you work. GoodCall uses PayPal to handle paying their freelance contractors. You won’t be paid until you have accumulated $100.
GoodCall is a legit work at home opportunity. Anyone with a good sales background should be able to use the company to help supplement their income.
