How Much Will I Make Working for American Express?
American Express work from home jobs pay very well – pay can start around $16 an hour and can move upwards close to $30 an hour due to bonuses and incentives. As with any customer service department — those that work in it, typically have to meet a matrix. Meaning, the customer service reps are required to meet certain quality criteria and performance criteria. Maybe it’s so many calls an hour, along with a customer service satisfaction rating that’s set by the company. I’ve worked for companies that require a CSAT (customer satisfaction) rating of 75% or higher. Typically customers are polled or surveyed and asked what their experience was with the rep. Don’t let this scare you though. After training – in my experiences, they give you time to get your feet wet and a little leeway because you’re learning.
How To Apply
So you’re thinking….. GREAT! This is awesome. Though there are not always virtual positions open at American Express, I can say that every time I search their careers page here, and do a search for “virtual, several jobs come up as you can see here. So my suggestion is to at least check once a week and see what comes up. Though the exact position posted on this page might not come up when you’re searching, something else might that you’d love even more. Good luck!

Also, I want to mention — since these jobs at American Express go so quickly — you can set up an alert via American Express that will let you know when virtual positions are open. Pretty cool! I thought this might help a lot of folks stand a better chance. You can set that email alert up here. Just scroll down the page a tad and you’ll see the Job Alert sign up.
