Neiman Marcus Work from Home [Jobs, Pay & More]

Neiman Marcus Work From Home

Help Neiman Marcus Customers (from home)

Before I go into the Neiman Marcus work from home program, a few thoughts and suggestions. The best way to earn a real living while working at home is making sure your employment opportunities are diverse. The more opportunities you take advantage of, the more secure your financial situation will be. And, one of these opportunities I really think you should consider is the Neiman Marcus Direct program.

What is the Neiman Marcus Work from Home Program?

The Neiman Marcus Direct Work From Home program is an attempt by the company to save themselves some money. In doing so, they are also providing opportunities to professionals who are serious about working from their home. This is a customer support type position created to improve the experience of the customers who use the stores' website and catalog.

Instead of working in a tiny cubicle, you’ll be able to camp out on your couch while wearing your pajamas and earn a living. This allows you to cut down on your weekly transportation costs. It also lets you spend more time with your family, set your own hours and enjoy a stress-free work environment.

The way the program is set up, you will use the telephone and web chat program to answer customer questions, help place orders, and represent the Neiman Marcus organization in a positive light. Working at home in a customer service type position is becoming extremely common.

The recent growth spurt that the company has experienced means there are currently plenty of openings available. However, as of right now, this is only open to Texas residents. Particularly the Dallas area, but this could change in the future.

Getting Started with the Neiman Marcus Work from Home Program

The best way to get started with this particular program is contacting the company. After that, simply follow the list of instructions that they will provide to you. I don't see it stated anywhere that previous experience is necessary. The company is looking for individuals that are hard workers. They must have an easy time speaking to people and are motivated enough to be able to work from a home office. If they believe that you will be a good match for the company, they will provide the training you need.

As of right now, I’ve not been able to find any information about what the pay scale is for the freelance contractors, but if I do I will update this post.

Final Thoughts

At this point, I don’t have any personal experience with the Neiman Marcus Work from Home program. I DO know it’s a legit opportunity. I’ve been told that the work at home opportunity can be both part time and full time. I suspect that if you work hard and impress the managers, you could turn this particular position into a higher paying position within the Neiman Marcus business. And that certainly wouldn't make for a bad career.

Thank you for letting me know your thoughts. The biggest audience I have is actually Texas-based. Not sure why — but it is. I’m not sure if I can segment my Pinterest followers by city or state. But I’ll certainly look into it. Thank you again.

  2. This only includes Dallas so maybe you shouldn’t have posted it to all of Pinterest.. just a thought.

I can add that — certainly. At the time that I wrote it, I had heard they were going to add a few more states. I guess they have not done that yet :(

  4. Perhaps you should mention in your post that it is for Texas residents only?

  5. I can try to do it

Yeah — that’s unfortunate — but it’s still worth sharing with others. The state of Texas is the second biggest visitor to my site :-)

  7. Just an FYI … this program is only available to individuals living in the Dallas Fort-Worth area of Texas. It says future expansion outside the area is possible.

Thank you for sharing this information. I clicked on the link and on the bottom of the page it states “Currently, Work From Home is only available within the Dallas-Ft Worth metro area. In future, expansion outside of the DFW metro area will be available in specific areas.” Just thought I share.
