Work at Home Companies [Reviews and Ideas]

Companies with Home Jobs

Work at Home Opportunities to Consider

Get the most out of your search for work at home by reading all honest reviews of companies that hire telecommuters. MoneyMakingMommy breaks it down and gives you all the details so that you can make an informed decision. Come back often to read the latest reviews and find out what companies are hiring people and allow them to do their job from the comfort of their own home.

These are not endorsements, but simple, honest reviews of work at home companies that I have come across. I spend the majority of my time looking for companies and researching them. The goal is to help you cut to the chase. In the beginning, all I wanted to do was to help others like me find work at home. My goal was simple, “Kelly… help others achieve what you want to achieve – staying home with your kids!” Granted, I didn't know at the time my site was going to become super popular. But looking back now, why wouldn't I have thought that? There are SO many of us moms that just want to be home with our kids. And for whatever reason, we need/want to earn an income too. I personally would not be happy without some kind of career. Luckily, I fell into writing and being a webmaster and loved it.

But my goal never wavered. To this day, helping others is the bottom line for me. That's the end game. I've never gotten rich off my website. I'm not making millions a year. Heck – my husband and I are like most Americans – paycheck to paycheck. But we're happy. (And I'm not saying that paycheck to paycheck is where you want to be either! As a matter of fact, I am officially on my 30 day trial of YNAB (You Need a Budget) right now and it's changing the way I think about money every day!)

So read over all the info on these work at home companies – maybe one of them is your next career move. I am constantly – and I do mean CONSTANTLY do searches and researching working at home. When I find a company, I delve in and try and bring you the details and important facts. Finding work at home is a lot easier when you don't have to put weighters on a dig through muck. I try to make your goal of working at home a little easier by clearing away some of the muck and trudging.

Don't limit yourself – take your time. I am always adding new company reviews. Take an afternoon or morning when it's quiet and delve in and get the facts. Before you know it, you might be filling out an application! Next? Getting hired, training and then that first paycheck!

It is my sincerest hope that what I bring you is helpful.

I am a licensed NC CPA and looking for analytical type work from home. I am qualified to do all types of accounting, auditing, analysis, budgets, medical billing, payroll, online teaching and am an expert in Excel spreadsheets and reports. I worked from home as a “payroll specialist” for a company that ended up being a scam and it has made me very cautious. I would like to find a legitimate position working from home and was wondering if anyone could point me in the best direction to avoid the scam ones.

  8. I’m a mother of two little tots and my husband just received news of his job transfer…we are moving from a little village from Coal Grove Ohio to Midland Texas so its about a 22+ hour difference from one state to another. I’ve been a store manager here at home for 6+ years but now that we are moving I’m looking to be able to be home with my tots until they start school at least because we wont have the family support and I wont be comfortable just putting them in a day care not knowing the area and it being such a big transfer and move…Could you suggest anything? Either part time or full doesn’t have to be like having a full pay job but something that will give me some income of my own…Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated…
    Thank you for your time.

  10. Rebecca,

Thanks for coming by and visiting MoneyMakingMommy! I think you could write from almost anywhere – the key is finding the employer that will pay overseas. Now of course, PayPal.com has made it easier for someone to get paid anywhere too – so that’s a plus.

I would research freelance writing jobs. I would also look into earning using something like Hubpages.com. They pay you a share of the ad revenue you generate. Some do very well with this.

Look at the freelance writing jobs page I have here on the site too.

If you can churn out decent articles – bet you could build clientele for your writing on Fiverr.com or sites similar to it.

  12. Hi Kelly,

Can you tell me the most reputable on-line part-time job offers? Whenever I research a potential job, it either appears unethical or very, very part-time. I am a college educated woman, 50 years old, married but without children, who needs to switch vocation because I am no longer physically able to work as a courier for FedEx. Feel free to call me ….I ready to work asap. Me cell phone number is XXXXXXXXXX. I live in Florida.

    Thanks, Lisa Lee
