Zirtual Offers A Great Work At Home Opportunity

Looking to find a work at home job opportunity, you are sure to have come across the company, Zirtual. Do you like the idea of working from home and earning money doing so? Have you ever thought you would be great as an assistant, how about a virtual assistant? With Zirtual you can make that dream a reality. You will be working from home helping to make your client’s life a little easier. It is a work from home job you will want to check out.

Zirtual… Who Are They?

Founded in 2011 by Maren Kate and originally based in San Francisco, the company is now headquartered in Columbus, OH, under the parent company Startups.co. Maren Kate is no longer with the company since it hit a rough patch in 2015 and was basically rebooted after. Though still with the vision to offer a service that would give the luxury of a concierge service along with the practicality of an assistant.

They have grown to have clients that live all around the globe. Zirtual’s drive is to provide jobs for the unemployed US workers, stay at home moms, retirees and the college students. The only requirement is to have passion to provide top-notch customer service with quality work and have a strong passion to help others.

Zirtual’s virtual agents work as professional assistants doing research, scheduling, making reservations, gift shopping and other online remote jobs. Zirtual wants to save their client’s most precious asset, time.

Zirtual’s clients are more than ecstatic about their Zirtual Assistants, they do feel their lives are better lived with more time focused on more meaningful tasks.

What Tasks Would Zirtual Assistants Do?

Zirtual is a company that does things just a little different than other virtual assistant companies. This is what makes Zirtual a great work at home opportunity. When you are brought into the Zirtual family you then become a ZA. A ZA is a Zirtual Assistant. ZA’s will be responsible to handle and carry out a variety of different tasks. Each day will be a little different from the last, as the needs of your client changes so will their requirement from you. Today you may be looking up the perfect anniversary gift for your client’s spouse and the next you may be researching for a proposal that is just a day away for presentation. ZA’s must be flexible. You never know what the day will hold for you and your client therefor Zirtual will look for individuals with the flexibility trait.

Zirtual has listed on their website what they require and expect of their Zirtual Assistants.
These expectations are:

• Being prompt in responding to your client’s requests and questions
• You must be internet savvy
• You must have strong organizational skills
• You must have strong internet research skills
• You must have strong communication skills
• You must have strong problem solving skills
• You must have high-speed internet connection
• You must have dependable phone access either landline or cell
• You must be available during all working hours to respond to and work with your clients
• You must be familiar with standard assistant tools: Google Documents, Gcal, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.
• You must display and have a strong desire to help others and maintain a positive attitude

If you feel you have these skills and feel you are ready to help others then its time for you to look at Zirtual.

Who Are Zirtual’s Clients?

Those individuals that look to Zirtual for help are highly successful and busy people. Each Zirtual client is unique and looking for a little help from a Zirtual Assistant.

What Does Zirtual Assistant Pay?

When looking into Zirtual you will not find a pay rate listed. The pay range is kept under a non-disclosed agreement. As you are going through the application process you will be asked how many hours you are looking to work. They seem to give a hint when providing this information. What you can see is a break down showing the possibility of about $12.50 to $15.00 an hour.

Based on this information with the amount of time you can invest you can make a good paycheck. Just think if you work 5-10 hours a week, you could earn $250 to $500 a month. If you are able to invest more than that, say 30 to 40 hours you can possibly earn around $2500 a month. This is an awesome way to supplement your income or save for that new car you have your eye on. You know the one, yeah that one, in red.

I’ve seen a listing for a job opening with Zirtual and this listing showed a pay rate of $15 an hour for 10-20 hours of work each week. So our break down should be correct.

What the Application Process is Like With Zirtual

As stated earlier, Zirtual is a little different than the other virtual assistant companies out there. The application process shows how they differ. Zirtual wants to be very careful with who they hire and to do so their application process is unique. It’s very in-depth and lengthy to say the least.

To apply you need to complete the online application from their Zirtual website. This is the first step. Part of their verification process Zirtual asks if it’s ok to check your Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Zirtual uses a third party, Virtrue, to check out your social background. Zirtual claims you will receive the report findings from Virtrue's background check. Don’t be alarmed by this. We live in a social media forward world and you are applying for an online virtual job so you can see the links in the two. If you are sketchy on the social media background check, Zirtual has made the background check optional and not a requirement for the job.

After you have completed your Zirtual application and submitted it a Zirtual representative will review your application and make a decision if you are someone they want to bring into the Zirtual family. As part of the decision process, Zirtual may ask you to make a video response answering a few basic questions.

You will have to complete a skills test as well as a Skype video interview as part of the hiring process.

Want to Know What People Are Saying About Zirtual?

Remember back a few sentences ago I mentioned that the pay rate was a non-disclosed agreement well when you are hired you are under that agreement as well. You are not allowed to talk about the details of your job or your client. There is a small percentage of applicants that are hired due to the extensive application process but of a few that have been hired, they have been heard saying they are happy with their Zirtual Assistant job with Zirtual.

I have a large list of Virtual Assistant jobs and companies that I keep updated if you'd like to check that out too!
