Amazon Review Program | Get Paid for Short Faceless Videos!
…and you don't have to show your face! What? Tell me more!
Hey, y'all! I want to take a minute to chat with you about something that has completely changed the game for me as a work-from-home mom. I'm talking about making money with an Amazon Storefront and creating product review videos. Don't get nervous when you hear “video”! You don't need to be front and center, but I promise you can do it, even with kids running around in the background. I've been there too, trying to figure out how to make extra income while balancing mom life, and let me tell you, this is a great opportunity worth exploring.
I know you've probably heard about influencers or bloggers who make thousands from their Amazon Storefronts, and you're thinking, “That's not for me; I'm not an influencer.” But here's the thing: you don't have to be a social media guru or influencer to succeed with this. You just need to be willing to give it a shot. Be yourself! I'm going to walk you through exactly how to do it, step by step. Let's dive in!
What is an Amazon Storefront?
First things first, so what exactly is an Amazon Storefront? Well, it's basically a personalized page on Amazon where you can showcase products that you recommend, love, or use daily. These could be products in any category—kitchen gadgets, beauty products, kids' toys, home décor—you name it! (Check out seasonal stuff too — that's what I do!) It's your little corner of the Amazon universe where you curate what you want people to see. And when someone buys from your storefront? You earn a commission! It's a bit like affiliate marketing, but with Amazon doing the heavy lifting for you.

Step 1: Sign Up for the Amazon Influencer Program
To create your Storefront, you'll need to join the Amazon Influencer Program. This sounds way fancier than it is—you don't need thousands of followers to qualify. If you're active on social media (think Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok) and have even a modest following, you might qualify. Amazon looks at your engagement and content more than just raw numbers, so don't count yourself out!
To apply, head to Amazon Influencer Program. You'll log in using your regular Amazon account and connect your social media profiles. If you're approved (and don't worry if you're not immediately—sometimes it takes a few tries), you'll get access to create your very own Storefront.
Step 2: Build Your Amazon Review Program Storefront
Now for the fun part! Once you've been accepted, it's time to build your Storefront. This is where you get to be creative and personalize your page to reflect who you are. Think about what products you want to feature. What do you use every day? What do your friends always ask you about? For me, it's always kitchen gadgets, beauty products, and the never-ending list of things my kids are into this week!
Amazon makes it easy to add products to your Storefront. You simply search for items you want to recommend, and then click to add them to your list. You can create different categories or “Idea Lists” to organize everything—like “Mom Life Essentials” or “Home Hacks for Busy Moms.” And don't worry, you can update this anytime as you discover new products or seasonal items.

Step 3: Create Product Review Videos
This step right here is where the magic happens—and where the money can really start rolling in. Amazon gives you the option to upload product review videos directly to your Storefront. These are short, simple videos where you talk about or show off the products you recommend. You don't need fancy equipment, just your phone and good lighting. In fact, a lot of people prefer more authentic, “real” videos over polished, studio-quality ones.
You DO NOT need to show your face!! I am shy too — I get it!
Here's how to do it:
- Pick a product from your Storefront that you genuinely love.
- Record a short video (aim for about 2-5 minutes) talking about why you love it, how you use it, and why you'd recommend it. Be yourself—talk to the camera like you're talking to a friend.
- Upload it to your Storefront. Amazon will approve the video before it goes live, so keep it family-friendly and stick to the facts.
When people watch your video on your Storefront or on the product page itself (yes, Amazon shows your videos right there alongside their product listings!), you can earn commissions every time someone buys from your recommendation. It's a win-win with this Amazon Review Program.
Step 4: Promote Your Storefront
Alright, mama, you've got your Storefront set up and your videos ready to go. Now what? You want to drive some traffic to your Storefront so people actually see all the hard work you've put into it.
- Social Media: Share your Storefront on your Instagram, Facebook, or even TikTok. Make sure to highlight your favorite products or recent reviews in your posts or Stories. You can even put a link to your Storefront in your bio so people can find it easily.
- Blog or Website: If you have a blog or website, you can feature your Storefront there too. For example, if you're writing about your favorite kitchen hacks, link to the products directly in your Amazon Storefront.
- Word of Mouth: Don't forget to tell your friends and family! They trust your recommendations, so let them know where they can find all your favorite things.

How Much Can You Earn?
Now, I know you're probably wondering, “How much money can I actually make from this?” Well, that depends on a few things—like how often people buy from your Storefront and how many people are watching your videos.
Amazon typically pays between 1% and 10% commission depending on the product category. While that might not sound like a lot, trust me, it can add up quickly, especially if you're featuring higher-priced items or products people buy regularly (like baby gear or home essentials). If you're consistent and put some effort into promoting your Storefront, you could realistically make anywhere from $100 to $1,000 a month, or even more!
I've seen some moms who have really taken this to the next level, earning upwards of $5,000 a month just from their Amazon Storefront and review videos! It's all about staying consistent and sharing products you truly love. Obviously, you have to BUY the products you're reviewing and that costs money. I do NOT recommend just buying stuff to review it, unless you have the budget for that. Don't put yourself into some kind of cash flow bind — EVER.
Final Thoughts
If you're looking for a flexible, fun way to make some extra money from home, I can't recommend starting an Amazon Storefront enough. It's something you can fit into your schedule. If you're like me — I try to fit it in during the kids' nap time, after the kids are in bed, or in those precious quiet moments with a cup of coffee in the morning. (Can I get an amen! lol) The best part? You're helping others by sharing products that you genuinely believe in.
So, what do you think? Ready to give it a try? I'm cheering you on, and I just know you can do it! Let's turn that Amazon cart into cash!
