Is There a Product Tester in YOU?

(New companies needing product testers below! Always adding new ones, so bookmark this page!)

Being a product tester is something I have loved doing for years.
I simply do searches for products I would like to test.

You’re saying…

Seriously? Don’t take me for a fool lady…..

I promise. I do not take you as a fool. I’m as interested in this Product Tester stuff as you are!

Trying products for free or earning cash for trying products? Yep…it’s possible.
You can get free stuff, free money making info and more just by looking around the internet.

I can understand your skepticism. Because lets get real…..is Pepsi or Burger King, Pizza Hut, Prada, Sony….whom ever actually going to put you on the payroll to have you just sit at your house and let them ship stuff to you so you can try it. I doubt that will happen. But if it does…you let me know.

There is no $40,000+ a year, work at home, part-time, full benefits package product tester job out there.

Is that what you’re looking for??? Because I’ve never heard of it. I don’t know anyone that does this. If you are the person that does this…. let us know. SPEAK UP!

Are there paid consumer test panels? Yes. Paid consumer focus groups? Yes… but mainly in big cities and they only need like 10 people at a time.

Product Tester Dreams Dashed?

So you’re disappointed now. You’re thinking…well this sucks. I was ready to cash my paycheck and wear my free Nike tennis shoes out to dinner at a restaurant where I was going to eat for free just for trying a new menu item because I am a Product Tester??

Sorry.

I’ve never met a person with this type job. I am being honest. And if they are out there….then they can correct me. They can also tell me HOW one goes about getting a job like that!

Now….there is product testing going on. Many times….you get to keep the product as your “payment”.
To me….that’s just as wonderful. Do you know how much FREE stuff you can nab??

LOTS!

I do my best to track down what I can….and post it here.

So…here we go….

There are sites and companies that NEED a product tester or two now and then!

For example – I did a search and found the following:

Product Evaluators Needed

Boots carries out studies and in-use tests on healthy volunteers to ensure our cosmetics, toiletries and skincare products meet the required standards before they go on the shelves in store.

Latest additions:

Bodycology – They are currently looking for testers for their skincare products.

Nintendo Game Testers – I know! Yes – they need game testers (but only in Redmond Washington area)

Product Tester Jobs in the Future

I am always on the hunt for product tester type positions….so come back to this page often. Just bookmark it….that way you won’t lose the link.

Below I have a few more products I’ve recently found that are ready for you to test. Some stuff is just free for the taking….t-shirts, info….there are also free opportunities to earn cash.

There are many ways to go about becoming a product tester. But I find one of the more fun ones to do it is to find FREE offers. Essentially they are “giving” you their product FREE to try. It’s like my birthday at my house every week! My kids are fascinated by all the little freebies that come to the house. I love it because I get free samples. Lotions, shaving cream, cosmetics….and my favorite – anti-aging products! Those are pricey, so it’s nice to get some free.

Product testing free products isn’t just samples though. I’ve gotten full size candles, blankets, boxes of tea, bags of coffee, shirts and more from being a product tester.

There are times when I’ve paid shipping – but it’s been minimal compared to what I got in return. I’ve paid shipping on kids books, books for me, DVDs, CDs and cookware. But paying the $1.99 in shipping was worth the $20.00+ item that I got for free.

Until then…feel free to try products for free! Or give your opinion and earn – I now Vindale takes testers all the time. Get Paid to Review Products Just share your unique opinion and get paid for it! Product Developers are willing to pay reviewers between $5 and $75 per completed survey.

I am waiting on a free gift card and a free cheesecake right now – and I am not embarrassed at all that I’m getting them free. And you know what…I won’t feel guilty at all when I’m eating a slice of cheesecake! (Other than the fact that I shouldn’t be snarfing down so many calories…but what the heck!)

I’m always looking for new products to test and try or snag for free – so come back often!

      Thanx for heads up !!

    • Katelyn

Thanks for the links of places we can try products for! I think this would be a neat thing to do, and I would actually be happy to do it for free as long as they gave me the product! :)

I’m hoping to add more product tester sites and jobs for people as I find them!

    • zoebaby

This sounds like a lot of fun! I didn’t realize there were so many opportunities like this available. I think my afternoon is about to be spent hunting through these leads.

I don’t think I’d ever do product testing for medicine. Yikes. That’s scary. Unless I was dying of some weird disease they had no cure for – I think I’d avoid that.

I have gotten some amazing products from product testing. I guess I love the free candles more than anything.

But I prefer cash – that’s why a cross between mystery shopping and product testing is a good balance for getting money and products.

    • Lililee

I never even considered product testing.  I guess the key is not to view it as income, but as free stuff.  Chelsee’s point about allergies is one to consider though.

    • Carameldelyt

does anyone knows of any product testers sites dealing with hair care?? thanks.

    • rojane

Just bookmarked this link so that I would check back often for more product tester job offers. I was hoping that there’s a job for trying out women’s apparel or clothing because I love to fit on them.

    • Jessa613

I would love to be a product tester!  I do most of the grocery shopping at home, so it would be nice to try out some grocery products firsthand before buying them. :)

    • dollars4diapers

I’ve never done any product testing, but it sounds pretty great!  What happens if you get stuff you’re not interested in or are unfamiliar with?
