Experts123 Shares Revenue With Article Writers
Experts123 is a work at home opportunity that has been around for a few years. The site is designed to provide easy to find, easy to understand information on a variety of topics. The site relies on freelance writers to generate educational articles on a wide variety of topics.
How Money is Earned
The way that Experts123 is currently set up, you have three different ways of supplementing your income.
The simplest thing to do is to create a user account, and spend a little time each day asking and answering questions. Before you do this, you should know that you won’t actually earn any money with this type of account. What you will do is promote yourself as an expert in certain fields and generate a great deal of exposure for your business, something that will come in handy when approaching private clients.
What most of the people I know have done is apply for the Expert Contributor position. If you get accepted as an Expert Contributor, you will be enrolled in a revenue share program. As an Expert Contributor you’ll be given a list of articles the site needs to have written and you’ll collect a small portion from whatever revenue the articles you’ve written generate. If you write enough articles and they become popular, you’ll be invited to become a Premier Contributor which is when you’ll finally be able to accept requests from paying clients and collect a fee for each article you write. The amount you’ll get paid for these articles ranges from $8 to $20 for each article that’s approved.
(This is similar to HubPages in a way – which is another option for making money writing online. I've enjoyed writing over at Hubpages!)
What I Don’t Like About Experts123
There are a few thing I don’t care for when it comes to Experts123. My biggest caveat with the program is that it takes a while before the payments are received. I’ve seen reports of it taking up to a month to receive the payment for the first paid article a writer has contributed. I feel that asking freelancers to wait a full month before getting paid is taking advantage of the situation. Payments are made through PayPal. While I don’t think you should plan on making much as an expert contributor, I do think that if you become a Premier Contributor, Experts123 has the potential to be a money earner for you. It is worth noting that topics commonly provided to premier contributors are generally about cars, insurance, and lifestyle.
