More User Testing Means More Tasks to Complete at UserFeel.com

Just 10 years ago, it was common place for a business to NOT have a web presence. They had brick and mortar stores and maybe their info on a yellow pages type website. But now, everyone and every business has a website and with that, competition that's steep and making sure that all aspects of your business are covered. Including a great website that your customers or visitors can navigate easily and find what they are looking for.

But how can a site owner be certain their site is the best it can be? How can businesses know? Sure, they have SEO techs and feedback as far as sales numbers or traffic. Or maybe it's a small business and they can't afford staff just for SEO and what not. That's where user testing can come into play. It's affordable and can give site owners very good insight as to what is working and more importantly, what isn't on their site.

But what does user testing have to do with making money from home?

UserFeel.com Hires Regular People to Test Websites

If you're familiar with the internet, have a microphone (and in come cases a webcam) – you can work for a company like UserFeel testing out websites and giving your feedback. Typically the site owner or company will have specific questions for the tester to answer.

For example:
1. Is the site easy to navigate.
2. Does the site seem trustworthy.
3. Are there too many ads.

That's just an idea of questions. They can be much more involved and/or very specific. You're going to want to be as honest as possible, without being rude. Make sure you speak clearly and not too fast. If you find something particular annoying about the site,
or something that really stands out to you – let the site owner now in a professional way. You're not being paid to just bash a site.
It's supposed to be helpful, constructive criticism. That goes both ways too. If there is something you find exceptional about the site or really find useful – be sure to add that as well, even if it's not specific to the questions they have asked. It's not to find out what you're doing right too.

I've personally used a site like UserFeel.com before when this site was in another design. I knew I needed to re-design the site – but wasn't sure what direction. Having people “grade” it and give me feedback – OUCH. It was painful, but it's what I needed to hear — and certainly some things were aspects of the site I'd never even thought about. It was extremely helpful in guiding me to the current design.

Just remember – when you're giving feedback on the quality of a site – YOU TOO will be given feedback by the site owner. Biggest complaints from site owners?

1. Talks too soft
2. Too Vague
3. Too brief
4. Didn't really answer my questions
5. Wasn't helpful

Payment and Work

$10 for about 15 minutes of work – that's nice. But assignments will be few or they will ebb and flow. Most tasks are snatched up quickly – so be ready to nab assignments when they come up. Also – you need to do these reviews in an allotted about of time or they are reassigned. So don't take the review if you can't complete it real soon.

You're paid weekly by PayPal. Which is very handy – especially if you have a PayPal debit card. You can use the money immediately.

Final Thoughts on UserFeel

This is legit work. Do it well and your feedback rating will be better. You're never going to replace a full time income with this type of work – but if you're trying to make some mad money or add to your families bottom line each month – this might be a way to pick up $100 or more a month.
