inContact Telecommuting Opportunities

InContact

Have Fun Working for (NICE) inContact

One of the things I do when I’m trying to decide if I should apply to work for a company that has opportunities available that would help me pad my work at home income or decide if I want to apply for a career-based job is to really dig when checking to see how long the company has been in business. I use the information to help me determine whether or not they’re the real deal or have the potential to be a scam. The longer a company has been in business, the more I trust them. (See my post, Canadian Work at Home Job Resources for more companies and ideas.)

At first glance, inContact didn’t have as long a business history as I would have liked, but I did a little more digging and discovered that they did some changes, including a name change, and were previously called UCN, a company that has a good reputation as being a legit work opportunity for anyone interested in telecommuting jobs.

They’re a Fun Company to Work for

Telecommuting work can be stressful and inContact understands that. They seem to be dedicated to making the workday easier by being as fun as they can possibly be. Although they’re professional, it’s one of the most laid back companies I’ve ever seen. They don’t sweat the small things and manage to make even the newest freelancer feel like a real member of the inContact community.

They Reward Initiative

One of the things that I really like about inContact is that they’re not afraid of change, the way some similar companies seem to be. They want both their full time contracted employees and their freelance contractors to think outside the box and to look for creative solutions. Best of all, they’re willing to reward employees that take control and make smart decisions. The more initiative you take, the more you will be paid and you might even be given first crack at the most lucrative money making opportunities

Lots of Work Opportunities

The great thing about inContact is that they’re in the process of expanding right now. This means that they are desperate for freelance contractors and that you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a steady stream of income. I think that the company would be a great choice for anyone who has just started to look into ways they can earn a living while working at home.

The positions they offer will vary, and some are even exec type or management positions, for example:

Channel Program Manager
District Sales Manager
District Sales Manager -Central Region
Product Marketing Manager
Customer Care Managers

But many moms at home these days are execs, that love being a mommy, but miss their corporate careers as well. This might be a good fit. To see what positions are open, you can look here.

**They are not always hiring, but seem to most of the time, so I'd check back often with them.
