Great Things About Working for Talk2Rep
There are several things to like about working as an independent contractor for Talk2Rep. The first is that they really do allow you to enjoy a completely flexible schedule. Something some companies no longer seem to be interested in.
Another thing to enjoy about Talk2Rep is that each live chat you handle is completely different and most of the questions you’ll be asked are very easy to answer, and when you do run into a more difficult question you’ll have time to look up the proper questions. Since its possible to work for a different industry each time you log in, you’ll find yourself steadily growing smarter with each chat.
Talk2Rep is willing to pay their independent contractors a decent wage. While handling their live chats, you could earn $11 to$13 an hour.
Concerns to Consider Regarding Talk2Rep
It has been awhile since I worked for them, but when I stopped working, I wasn’t happy and I have very little desire to give them another try.
My biggest complaint with the company was the fact that they would get really wishy-washy whenever it was time to issue a payment. I never got paid when I was supposed to, and on the rare occasions when I was actually able to connect to a real live person and ask them about my missing pay, they always seemed to be shocked that I noticed it wasn’t on time and that I wasn’t happy about the delay. I never did get any satisfactory answers from any of the people I spoke to. I eventually got paid, but in the end, I realized the amount of time I spent trying to track down what I was owed could have been time I put to use earning more money so I left the company. At the time, I knew several people who had experienced similar problems with the company.
Final Thoughts
Even though I do consider Talk2Rep to be a real, legit company, my experiences with them make me very reluctant to recommend them. If you do decide to use them to gain some experience doing live chats, I recommend you keep you working hours minimal in the beginning until you can determine whether or not they’ve gotten more consistent when it comes to payments.

I worked for them about a year ago, client AT&T. I never had a problem with pay but management never really responded. I lost my job because I contacted my lead who did not report it and they said I was a no call no show. I had had enough anyway because their metrics were based on customers rating you. If they dinged you or left no rating at all, it count against you. It was a sales job but you could lose sales if the person you were chatting with decided to end chat and call in, or they could come back at later time and ask the next rep one question and they would get the credit for your hard work. Apart from those things, it was a good starter chat job.
