Schedule: All shifts available (6am Pacific Time to 11pm Pacific time Monday through Friday; 7am to 11pm Pacific time Saturdays and Sundays)
This is a work from home inbound contact center position; no sales required.
About the position
Certified Personal Finance Counselor/Analysts ("CPFC") are expected to be experts in all aspects of our various programs. CPFCs respond to inbound telephone calls/chats/emails in a fast-paced contact center environment. Our CPFCs support a wide variety of subjects in a non-scripted setting. They are expected to handle client calls and demonstrate the ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues from start to finish.
Analyze client budgets and provide financial counseling to our clients
Perform a full range of customer service functions that include client registration, payment processing and billing inquiries
Support attorney partners via phone and email
Resolve issues in a stressful situation and demonstrate personal resilience
Work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation including the training period.
Lunches and breaks are scheduled; flexibility with scheduled hours required; including weekends as needed
You must be a Certified Personal Finance Counselor or equivalent (as determined by Cricket Debt Counseling) prior to your start date.
Enjoy basic math/finances
Prior inbound call/contact center experience required
Ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information and determine needs of the client
Flexibility to customize approach to meet all types of client communication styles and with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations
Excellent grasp of basic math concepts and the ability to perform simple calculations quickly and efficiently
Fast and accurate typing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Manage multiple computer applications concurrently (i.e., chat, instant messaging, web app, etc.)
