SPATCO Energy Solutions has been the leader in the fueling infrastructure industry since 1935. We provide a complete line of equipment and services for storing, pumping, mixing and metering petroleum and industrial liquids. We offer turnkey development of retail and commercial facilities, as well as offering custom design and build capabilities. Our customers come from a variety of industries including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets. SPATCO currently operates 11 branch locations with a dedicated training facility in North Carolina, and growing service satellites throughout the Southeast. We have just over 300 employees, with about 150 dedicated service technicians on staff.

In addition to years of in-the-field experience, SPATCO’s service technicians receive ongoing class room training and manufacturers’ certification—making them the most highly trained and qualified technicians in the industry. And, our certified trainers can also train our customers’ technicians to service and maintain Dresser Wayne dispensing systems and point-of-sale products.
Each technician’s truck is a rolling warehouse of parts for quicker response times, jobs that are completed on the first visit, and improved “up times” for customer equipment.

Our service dispatchers strive to enhance customer service, customer retention and the profitability of the service division
Since this is a split shift – this person will normally work 1-11pm but it may vary. This person will need to be very flexible in regards to being able to work 3rd shift as needed. This may happen if someone calls out on the 3rd shift or if they need to cover vacation time for a 3rd shift person. Right now I have 2 ladies working 2nd shift (1-11pm) and 2 ladies working 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am). The split shift individual is basically the “rotator” between these two shifts to ensure there is always adequate coverage. This position will also work rotating weekends and rotating holidays
Provide outstanding customer service to SPATCO’s customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding SPATCO Values at all times
Dispatch technicians to appropriate locations that drive efficiencies along with customer satisfaction
Provide adequate communication to customers both through written and verbal communications that provides appropriate status information and sets proper expectation levels
Assist with customer relationship management and growing service revenue and profitability
Drive service division initiatives such as: open call reduction, call completion turnaround time and communication improvements
Facilitate product or other resources to assist with service activities
Manage customer and vendor required status reporting
Coordinate service activities with other areas of the company
Coordinate and schedule major service projects
Coordinate technician training activities
Assist with A/R issues
Previous dispatching experience preferred
Bachelor Degree preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented and organized
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once is essential
Ability to manage major customer relationships
Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
Effective time management skills
