The Servicing Invoice Processor will be responsible for reviewing, approving, and processing invoices from default servicing vendors. This includes ensuring all vendors are paid in a timely manner by requesting payment from internal departments. This role will also require properly coding any fees and costs from vendors as recoverable, non-recoverable, or third-party recoverable in the system of record to track for the purposes of billing and investor claims. Additionally, the Servicing Invoice Processor will work with the default business lines to review any over-allowable or excessive fees and confirm accurate billing on services provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to;

  • Review, analyze, and ensure timely processing of any default related invoices from third-party vendors.
  • Complete a reconciliation of invoices received to production reporting from the system of record.
  • Document and maintain all systems necessary for proper invoice handling and follow-up.
  • Code all invoices in the system of record as either recoverable, non-recoverable, or third-party recoverable.
  • Coordinate with internal department to request payment is sent to vendors for processed invoices.
  • Work with default business lines to ensure invoices reflect accurate billing from vendors.
  • Complete timely audits of processed invoices and payments to ensure all requirements have been met, and invoice process can be validated.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous work with mortgage invoice processing and/or relevant experience.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Experience with mortgage servicing systems used for maintaining account information
  • Knowledge of ICE MSP Director, Invoicing application, and BKFC application preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective problem solver and troubleshooter.


  • Data Entry Accuracy. Access, input, retrieve and interpret information using applicable computer systems (including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel etc….
  • Subject Matter Expert in investor guidelines regarding allowable fees and costs by investor/agency and investor websites to remain current on any investor/agency changes to fees and costs.
