Parker Staffing is partnering with Nintendo to hire strong long-term Customer Service Representatives to assist consumers with a variety of questions related to their Nintendo products through online chat services.

You'll be able to provide tier one network and troubleshooting support for Nintendo gaming systems via a chat interface. Chat CSRs are able to follow step-by-step processes to pinpoint customer issues and provide clear, accurate information to resolve them. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communicators with experience in problem solving and dealing with escalations.

What are my core duties in this role?

Customer Service Representatives provide tier one network and troubleshooting support for Nintendo gaming systems via a chat interface. Chat CSRs are able to follow step-by-step processes to pinpoint customer issues and provide clear, accurate information to resolve them. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communicators with experience in problem solving and dealing with escalations. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing outstanding technical assistance to consumers through live troubleshooting via chat and/or SMS contacts
  • Answering consumer questions about the online features of their Nintendo game systems
  • Aiding consumers (both adults and children) with setting up and/or using a wireless network and account services with their Nintendo gaming system(s)
  • Gathering and documenting consumer feedback
  • Accurately and efficiently documenting consumer contact interactions and routing escalations to correct teams for follow-up resolution
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of successful experience working with multiple technical applications and programs at once to resolve inquiries
  • 1+ year(s) of successful experience in role primarily focused in customer support
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a call center environment is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with good business judgment
  • Strong knowledge of Nintendo products and brand
  • Must complete company provided training and demonstrate ability to resolve customer issues
  • Results obtained in standard tests for this position must meet minimum requirements established by Nintendo, in accordance with Company policy

Physical/Functional Requirements:

  • Ability to perform consistent work on a PC including multiple peripherals (e.g., Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to interact with others in a way effective for professional collaboration and communication
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate levels of stress
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed to meet business needs
  • Ability to work with sensitive material and mature content
  • Ability to work independently, take initiatives with projects, and be self-motivated
  • Reliable method of transportation to/from Redmond campus
  • A private, distraction-free workspace at home with consistently reliable high-speed internet and power
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and background and/or reference check
  • Must be available for flexible scheduling

The Consumer Service Department is open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, seven days a week

Must be available to work any full time (32-40 hours per week) schedule within the business hours

The exact schedule may vary each week with shifts including the morning (starting at 6am), the weekend (Saturday/Sunday), and closing (ending at 7pm), therefore, candidates must be able to accommodate a fluctuating schedule

Candidates must be able to work the day after Thanksgiving and December 26th-31st, and willingness to work extra hours around all holidays, if needed

Nintendo associates are typically required to take a consecutive eight-week break in service after 48 consecutive weeks on the job before they are eligible to return for another 48-week period

Employment will be subject to Parker Staffing Services, LLC policies and procedures as adopted, and may be revised or deleted from time to time. Parker also retains discretion to modify benefits
