Position Summary:

Employers Council is seeking a Member Experience Specialist to join their existing team to create exceptional experiences for Employers Council members by providing exceptional customer service. This service is dedicated to fostering member loyalty and will be the first point of contact at Employers Council.

JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES to be successful in this position will include but not be limited to:

  • Track and serve as point of contact for the member experience across online and offline channels, devices, and touchpoints.
  • Introduce and connect members to appropriate resources, informing members about new membership features and services.
  • Identify customer needs and take proactive steps to maintain positive experiences.
  • Work with members having complex customer service issues to resolve those issues, applying Trusted Advisor principles.
  • Conduct member results as a component of member experience efforts.
  • Interact with internal departments to identify opportunities to improve member experience.
  • Use professional communication etiquette to respond in a timely manner to customer queries via inbound phone calls, emails, chat applications and other channels balancing efficiency with compassion.
  • Update membership database and generate reports, as needed. satisfaction surveys, analyze and compile survey and qualitative member data, and disseminate
Requirements
  •  4-years’ experience in a customer service or member experience role or, equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and chat platforms.
  • Strong communication skills (verbally, written, technical).
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Solid writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to learn and work with organizational software required!

POSITION STATUS: Full-time / Non-Exempt / 100% fully remote

SALARY: $21.83 – $26.21 per hour
