JOB DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS
Penn Foster is seeking teaching professionals to work 5-25 hours per week grading exams for English courses. This is a work at home opportunity where you can set your own schedule around your life.
Must be able to:
Objectively and accurately evaluate subjective exams, proctored exams, and projects against established grading keys and rubrics
Provide clear and effective feedback to students
Complete the necessary steps to ensure that grades are properly recorded with the school
Correspond with students as may be required by the exam evaluation
Graders may provide input to instructional staff regarding areas of student difficulty
Graders may be asked to develop grading rubrics as directed by the instructional staff
Participate in special grading projects which may be required by the instructional staff.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Must possess a Master’s degree in English or have a Master’s degree with an Undergraduate degree in English.
Experience: Teaching experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Incumbent has authority to make grading decisions within established precedents or well-defined policy with regular direction from the instructional staff.
