Creative Content Writer (work at home) PET INSURANCE

As Content Writer, you will be integral in writing and curating content of many types, targeted to B2C and B2B audiences, for multiple unique brands. You will collaborate closely with each brand’s marketing team on content strategy, writing, editing content, and proactively driving collaboration across departmental lines. You’ll use your deep understanding of each brand’s unique value proposition, audience, and tone/voice in order to create impactful written pieces that break through the noise to drive awareness and inbound interest.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, concise, and educational/entertaining content of all types
• Support the production of blogs, site copy, flyers, sales decks, ebooks, guides, emails, ads, and more
• Conduct research on industry-related topics to inform your writing and help ideate original topics
• Optimize content using SEO techniques
• Proofread and edit content before publishing
• Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Bring a fresh, creative tone and voice to the table, to help elevate stale copy

Requirements:

• BA/BS in English, Communications, Journalism, or similar field.
• 3+ years of experience writing clever and engaging copy for a brand, organization, or other initiative.
• Strong ability to write and edit copy according to the voice of the brand
• Experience writing both short- and long-form content
• Experience writing both consumer-facing content and content for business buyers
• Skilled in optimizing content for SEO
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to make the complex simple
• Proven ability to write content that achieves marketing and business goals
• Portfolio of writing samples required
