JOB DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS
We are seeking several Specialists to join our remote team who work from their home office. Successful candidates must have high speed internet, and ability to work in a virtual self-management/self-motivated environment to join our team. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing incoming Medicare documentation, making phone calls to physicians, suppliers and Medicare patients, and data entry. This candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively correspond with supplier staff, physician offices, patients, and Medicare representatives in order to obtain required information. As we are a healthcare company, the successful candidate must also adhere to the Company's confidentiality and HIPAA compliance programs.
Required Employee-Provided Equipment:
High Speed Internet with 50 MBPS Minimum download speed and 5 MBPS Minimum upload speed
A computer / lap top with adequate processing speed and memory to connect to our Virtual Private Network
A dedicated, quiet space in their residence for performing their job function, free from disruptions and unavailable to others during shifts
A Smart Phone / Device with space available to download required applications
Ability to telephonically assess the needs of individuals
Advanced customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with all levels of contacts including, but not limited to, patients, health care providers, customers, and internal staff
Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact
Ability to multi-task and manage tasks accordingly
Flexible and adaptive to a changing environment
Excellent computer skills, including above average words per minute typing
Ability to learn new information systems and software
Must demonstrate dependability and reliability
Excellent phone skills and call center experience
Ability to achieve daily production goals in our fast pace environment while adhering to our high quality standards.
Healthcare experience with a focus on those with a chronic disease, as well as exposure to various insurance payers, including Medicare Part B , Medicaid and Commercial insurances
