Can Zeekler Rewards Equal Cash Savings for You?

Among work-at-home opportunities, Zeek Rewards seems to be generating a lot of excitement. So with that said, let’s explore what the hype is all about.

What is Zeekler?

Zeek Rewards is based on a penny auction site called Zeekler.com. If you do not know how a penny auction site works, here is the story. The owner of the site puts things up for sale at a really low price like a laptop for thirty dollars. People bid on these items, but every time a person places a bid, the price of the product goes up by a penny. This jacks up the price as well as adding more time to the bidding process.

You may be asking how money is made from this. Well, in order to be able to place a bid, you first have to join their site which means putting ten to twenty dollars into the auction account. Now here is the kicker—every time you place a bid, the price of the item goes up a penny, but you pay a fee to the penny auction website merely for the privilege of bidding.

This usually amounts to as little as five cents or as much as a dollar and fifty cents. So now there are hundreds or even thousands of people bidding on one item, and you can be the lucky winner of a very cheap laptop (plus whatever fees you are required to pay for bidding). The

other bidders get nothing but the auction website owner gets all the money the bidders spent making their bids so now he or she can pay for the laptop’s full price plus have money left over. The more people who bid, the more money in the owner’s pocket. Zeek Rewards operates on a similar scale but with some differences. (I just saw two tickets to this year’s superbowl going for less than $500!!)

First of all, the profits earned by Zeekler.com are shared with Zeek Rewards members. Your level of membership determines how much you get (yes, an MLM model) which is smart for them in terms of how much the auction site owner has to pay for the merchandise out of his or her pocket.

Getting started and making money

Getting started with Zeek Rewards is a bit tricky. You need to be invited in order to gain access to the sign-up form. You have to join under a current Zeek Reward’s affiliate. Once you join, you have to choose your affiliate level. According to the site, you will earn VIP points every time you refer someone to the program. Those points get converted into cash. They use the two times five matrix to pay affiliates which can be a bit confusing. You receive payment every two weeks via a check or through Solid Trust Pay.

What are the start-up fees?

Because this is an MLM program, you are required to pay a fee for joining. You can join for free, but you will not be able to get paid which is the goal. The fees are as follows: ten dollars a month to be a silver level member; fifty dollars a month to be a gold level member; and ninety-nine dollars a month to be a diamond level member.

What is your earning potential?

The more successful you are bringing in new members and having them spend on bids will determine how much you make. Your affiliate level will also figure in the amount of money you will make.

The Cons

MLM’s in general are confusing when it comes to their payout structure. This may be a source of difficulty in recruiting new members who do not understand how they will be paid and do not want to figure it out.

By not using PayPal as a payment option, Zeek Rewards is missing out on an opportunity to get lots more members. There is really no reason offered as to why it is not an option which makes it a little suspect to some people. The payment option they do use—Solid Trust Pay—is not widely known or used so it is unclear why they use it at all.

You have to shell out a fairly decent amount of money per month to be a part of this business. So the money you spend can be money down the tubes if you cannot turn it into a profit. But that is also the nature of this type of business. You need to only invest what you can afford so you do not lose too much.

There is a ninety day expiration on bids and then you are required to reinvest. This is great for the company, but not for you.

A bit of confusion exists as to who owns Zeekler and Zeek Rewards. Rex Venture Group and Rex Endeavor Team, LLC both claim to own them. This can be a bit curious as often times companies change their names when they acquire a bad reputation for one reason or another. A Better Business Bureau rating of one of the owner’s names came up as an F which some people may find uneasy.

They do not seem to offer much in the way of training or marketing. What they do suggest is posting classified ads, which is outdated with regards to affiliate marketing because many recruits will copy and paste whatever the company provides. Unfortunately, this opens the door for spam complaints and having the ads blocked or deleted. They should be offering more modern ways of marketing.

There are many penny auctions on the Internet so there is a lot of competition. This is where training and marketing would come in handy if it were offered. Their affiliates are going to struggle trying to get visibility for their auction.

You can look up more information regarding any complaints or issues that people have with Zeek Rewards but keep in mind that sometimes people have personal agendas or find the smallest thing to complain about so read the comments and criticisms with an open mind.

Is Zeek Rewards legit?

Because they are still new, gauging its legitimacy is tricky. You may want to adopt a wait and see attitude if you are unsure. Their BBB rating of an F is certainly something to consider but that could have been under one of the company’s names and they may have since improved. What you want to keep an eye out for is proof that affiliates of the company are getting paid. They do deal with a real product with the penny auctions which is known to be profitable. Hopefully this is not some sort of Ponzi scheme disguised as a penny auction. Bottom line—look for proof of payment before joining Zeek Rewards.  Zeekler Sign Up
