EARNING BIG MONEY WITH AN AFFILIATE WEBSITE
I get asked...."How can I earn
money on the internet if I don't have a website
and know nothing about affiliate programs?"

I know.....I hear it all the time...I get asked all the time....
People want their own website, they want to earn some cash online. Most of these
folks do not want to start from square one and learn how to build a website.
Maybe they work full time and have kids...that makes it very hard to squeeze in
time to learn a huge software program. I will say that Expression Web and Dreamweaver
are not as hard as they look - but it will take time to get to a point where
you're not frustrated and pulling out your hair if you begin learning one of
these. Of course you can create a site easily using these programs - but it will
be very elementary looking at first.
I remember my first website. I wish I'd saved it. It's laughable - but I was
learning and I was VERY proud of it. So I say more power to those willing to
take it on and dig right in. I spent MANY night from 10PM until 2AM learning,
struggling and near tears. And yes...I had to get up and go to work the next
day. But I wanted it so badly-and was so fascinated by the internet and web
building - I thought nothing about lack of sleep.
If you can take a class at a local community college for Expression Web or Dreamweaver
- I'd consider it. I wish I had done that. I would have saved myself so much
time and energy.

You can have a site built for you - Network Solutions offer it ALL! They'll host
it, build it....you might take a look at them if you feel overwhelmed by the
whole idea of starting from scratch yourself:
Web.com is very similar and used a lot by folks trying to get a small business
on the internet. They offer a "website in minutes" option.
But there are other ways to get your dream of a website presence going....
Blogs are a great way to get started with a website of your own. Blogger.com
offers a FREE blog program. Yep....free. You can be working on your new blog in
5 minutes! NO joke. I use
WordPress - they have a beginners
section that allows you to be blogging in minutes as well. I love using
Wordpress. I use it for both my blogs"

It's best to get your own
domain name - at least in my opinion.
Don't get too freaked out - it's NOT super complicated. But as I said
earlier....a good WYSIWYG program will be important. The newest one out there is
Expression Web (this took the place of Microsoft's Frontpage).
Now lets say....you have your website....
Lets get to the point of this article.....AFFILIATE PROGRAMS.
There are tons of affiliate programs out there. Basically an affiliate program
is a referral program. The owner of the product or website or ebook - whatever -
will PAY you a commission if you refer others to what they are selling and those
referrals buy. Simple concept.
There is a lot of money to be made for those that can sell. Sometimes you get
paid .20 for a referral. But if you refer 100 people a month - that's $20 you
didn't have before! The bigger money is in products that offer instant delivery
and high commissions. You can earn $15.00+ selling someone else's quality
product that people want! You can find all kinds of products, info and services
that pertain to YOUR website's topic and offer them to your visitors. When they
buy - YOU earn.
I use all the following affiliate programs - and they are truly the highest
earners I've every had:

It's been a lot of trial and error - but I can honestly say that signing up for
all the programs above will
be worth your while.
It takes effort....but don't get discouraged.
If I hadn't stayed up all those nights for years, struggling, ready and learning
- would MoneyMakingMommy be what it is today? Would it have won awards, been
featured in magazines and newspapers - have the high volume of traffic- and
mainly - allow me to stay at home with my kids (which was the ultimate goal)?
I had a true hunger in my gut to WANT to learn, to WANT to be capable of
accomplishing my goal. So much so - that I continue today....moving forward,
constantly learning, reading. As I grow - my business grows along with me.
I can tell you - that after years at this....I wish I had found this wonderful
handbook when I first got started. it would have made things so much easier. You
don't have to go into this like I did - you can have help. Rosiland Gardner has
a fabulous handbook. It's called the
Super Affiliate Handbook. What a wealth of
information on learning about affiliate programs, how you can earn money from
them, what affiliate companies are out there.
This handbook will make things easy to understand - even I learned a new thing
or two and I've been at this for years! (See....always learning!! I'm always
willing to keep digging....keep learning...keep improving!)
Take my advice and check out
Rosiland's handbook - she is considered extremely
knowledgeable. She was profiled in 'Revenue Magazine' and was even asked to
write for them! She's also been a speaker at many top affiliate conferences like
Affiliate Summit!
So with all this info....you've got some decisions to make.
But at least you're a little more ahead of the game and have some insight to get
your started on.
But no matter what - once you've got your site up and running - get some ads on
there....check out what affiliate programs are out there. Make some money! Yes!
