Virtual Executive Assistant Jobs at eaHELP

Get Treated with Respect by eaHELP

Right now it seems like there’s a ton of work available for work at home freelancers who are willing to act as virtual personal assistants. While there is some variation in the expected duties, most of these positions have you doing things like booking appointments, filling out forms, and scheduling meetings. All for corporate types who don’t have time to handle the mundane aspects of business life for themselves. But who also don’t feel they have enough work to justify hiring a staff person to act as a personal assistant.

Most people who work at home love having one or two virtual assistant jobs in their work at home baskets because the work is interesting. And there’s generally quite a bit of it available. Though a virtual executive assistant job is a higher level as far as being assistant, these positions exist as well.

One company that’s looking for freelancers to work as virtual assistants is eaHELP.

What is eaHELP?

eaHELP was established four years ago in 2010. They’re based in the United States and work with businesses and freelance contractors who are located all over the country. To the best of my knowledge, they don’t have any clients outside of the United States. The clients eaHELP works with come from all sorts of industries.

Pay

I’ve been unable to confirm any facts regarding what or how eaHELP pays freelance contractors. According to one message board, it sounds like the pay is reasonable. The fact I haven’t found any complaints about the company indicates that the contractors are happy with the arrangement and that the company pays on time. (See my post, Virtual Assistant Jobs – Where To Find Them for a big list of even more virtual assistant type jobs and companies.)

Pros of Working for eaHELP

While I don’t have any personal experience with eaHELP, from what I can tell, this is an excellent company to work for. Not only does it sound like they pay a reasonable rate, but it also seems like they treat their freelance contractors very well. The company has been very well rated on Glassdoor and I’ve heard that many people feel comfortable using eaHELP as their primary source of income.

Cons of Working for eaHELP

The biggest downside I can find regarding eaHELP is their expectation regarding who they’ll hire. Not only do they give applicants who have earned a bachelor’s degree preferred, they also like applicants to have a minimum of five years’ experience.

If you fit the hiring criteria and think working as a virtual personal assistant sounds interesting, you’d do well to apply to eaHELP.
