You can use The Council for Higher Education Accreditation. They have a database of Institutions Accredited by Recognized United States Accrediting Organizations. This is a relatively easy and fast way to check.

Online diplomas and courses can help you obtain the training that you need in order to qualify for a position or earn more money in your current position. Earning more is certainly something everyone wants to do.

A lot of times potential students don’t pursue further education because they feel they are too old….or they live too far out. Or they simply don’t want the hassle of “going” to class. There’s nothing like trekking across campus in 10 degree winter weather! Been there…done that.

I went back to college at 24 and felt like I was a GEEZER! So I can relate to be the “old” one on campus. Not sure at 42 if I would want to sit in a class with all these 19 year olds!
