Home employment is something many of us are wanting these days. I have seen just in the past two years, so many people lose their jobs. It’s frightening. People have had to sell their homes, or worse – have their homes foreclosed on. And these weren’t lazy people that didn’t give a damn. There were hard working folks that contributed to society, volunteered – that are trying to raise their kids to be good, honest, hard workers too.

Here in my house, we worry about my husband’s job all the time. He works in a manufacturing plant – but it doesn’t matter where you work – layoffs, doors closing  – it’s happening all over the place.

They tell us the economy is getting better. I laugh when I read this. Real people….in the real world – down here in the trenches – and not on their political pedestals know. It’s tough to make a living here in the USA.

So a lot of people are turning to home employment of some sort. Whether it’s bringing their current skills home to run a business at home, or starting up a small business (a friend of mine just started a daycare in her home and it saved them from losing their house!). Many women are seriously ramping up their direct sales businesses. I know for me, running my Avon business is super important.  It helps pay the bills, I enjoy selling Avon – so I invest the time and effort.

But if you really want home employment of some kind – it might help to think out of the box. Maybe considering things that you hadn’t ever before.

What Kind of Work is Offered in the Home Employment Directory

Good question. I would want to know too. According to the publisher’s site, there are crafting and assembly type jobs mainly.  Bookmarks, toys, key chains – all kinds of little items. Some people love working with their hands and crafting – so this might be a perfect fit. BUT – I want to emphasis this – I don’t personally own a directory – but I few people that have bought it told me that you have to first “prove” that you can make quality items. In order to do this…you have to buy materials or little kits so that you can make a “sample” of your work. Not exactly a NO FEE home employment option if you have to buy something to even get hired. But I can understand both sides of this. The employers don’t want crappy, sloppy work and they can’t afford to give supplies away by the hundreds every week. And YOU don’t want to have to pay anything to get work.

So – that ultimate decision is something you’ll have to personally wrestle with.

That’s not the only kind of work in the home employment directory – but from what I can tell, it’s the main type of work that you can do.
