Online surveys are kind of a love/hate thing for me. Can I just say – that I get asked about online surveys so often that I sometimes feel like a “survey” hotline. I get asked about this company or that company and is it legitimate? Of course – if I spent all day, every day answering these questions, I’d get nothing else done. BUT – I want to be helpful – so I sit here and write this article to try and bust the myth or reality of making money with online surveys. Online
Can I Quit My Day Job By Doing Online Surveys?
First I want to point out something important. Doing surveys online will NOT replace a full time income. No. No. And No.
Won’t happen. If it does – please let me know because I’d love to interview you!
Can you make money from online surveys if you got spare time and want to make some cash? Yes. Now listen, I know there are scams out there. BOY do I know. I’ve been scammed like everyone else. Actually more than once. Paranoia runs high when I am looking for ways to make money at home and I’m checking out a new program. I don’t want to be scammed and I don’t want anyone else scammed.
So – how do I make money with online surveys right now?
Finding the surveys is the hard part – even MoneyMakingMommy knows that. Of course….finding good survey companies in the first place can make that hard part go away. But how do you do that? I don’t know about you, but I do NOT have all day to look for surveys. As a matter of fact – for the first time in 12 years – I’d like to start taking weekends off and take a real vacation where I don’t have a laptop chained to me 24/7. (The hazard of having a website as your job! LOL) So…
I’ve looked around and tried to find something that works for me. Something that DOES the work for me. I have actually found something very cool and I’ve talked to the owner, David and he’s a very nice, sincere guy that KNOWS the survey scoop.
There are so many companies looking for consumer opinions. Countless numbers. But if you don’t have a connection or a way of knowing about these surveys, you can’t make any money. Some companies want you to try products even before they hit the market….so you get to be “in the know” before everyone else. So doing surveys is fun – and if you can make money too? Even better.
So…back to David. David is considered the Survey Mastermind. He tracks all the companies that need survey takers.
All I did was join Survey Mastermind and then David does all the work. I get access to a pre-screened list of companies that offer surveys…..and sign up for the ones that interest me. I make sure I fill out my profile completely so that I only get surveys that interest me. It’s that easy. And it’s free.

It’s kept updated with all the latest companies offering surveys for people like you and I to take.
My Online Survey Setup
Here’s what I did. I set up an email through gmail (which is free) – just for taking surveys. That way – it all comes to one place and it’s not interfering with my work email or my personal email. I signed up for Survey Mastermind (which was very easy). So now….all the work has been taken out of trying to find legit survey companies and surveys and it’s all sent to one email address!
So far I have NOT been disappointed. Survey Mastermind.

IMPORTANT: Those of you that are serious about this whole survey earning opportunity should sign up for as many companies as possible. Some companies pay cold hard cash, others prizes and sweepstakes. Take a few days and start signing up! Some only ask for your email address – other sign ups need more detail. Keep a notebook with the site you signed up at and your login info and then track when you did a survey etc! It is SO worth it.
