How to Get Paid to Shop

Earn Money Shopping as a Job? Earn cash, products and rewards!

How to get paid for shopping online isn't as hard as you think. And you may get to a point where you can leave your day job! There are many programs that pay you to “try” a program, a sample or fill out an offer. To earn online shopping you have to be smart though. You have to have a plan, more than one program and be armed with a notebook that stays at your computer! Have it ready when you go online!

I get paid for shopping and you can too!

There are several programs designed to help you earn money shopping or offer reward points for shopping, signing up for trial offers, receiving samples, taking surveys and expressing your opinion. So there are many opportunities to earn money shopping without ever leaving your home. These are convenient and flexible. Though you can earn money shopping doing both at home and out and about methods – you might find more online if you live in a smaller town or city.

MyPoints was created around 2004 – and I immediately signed up.

And remember…the key for me – the plan I use to earn my income to stay home is to not have just ONE thing that I do. I spend my days using programs like MyPoints and Swagbucks… and several others. Each alone…may not equal $75 a month – but altogether – for my efforts and organization – I can bring in well over $1000! Rakuten has great cashback offers too – so if you're into getting cashback for literally buying stuff you were already planning on buying — sign up.

I've said this many times when it comes to survey type sites, and trial offer type sites…stay on top of what you are doing!! Don't be willy nilly about it. Have a credit card you use JUST for any trial offers you sign up for or any type of shipping you might pay for. I have a Chase card with just a $400 limit.

By having your own credit card just for business/income expenses – you can track things separate from your personal monies. You can also (if ever needed) dispute any charges. This is good for a trial offer you signed up for – that charged you after the trial period was over even though you cancelled – or forgot to cancel…

Which leads me to another point…
If you sign up for a trial offer ( which can earn you BIG bucks!) – keep track of that trial offer. What site did you sign up for the offer at? What is the trial offer obligation and how and when do you cancel? In 30 days? 15 days?
Don't just sign up for something and not know what you signed up for!!!! That's sort of strange? If you sign up for a trial offer (in order to make $20) and you don't cancel before the trial offer is over – you're gonna get charged for a full membership or whatever the deal was! You just lost $20 and probably got charged more than that.

I'm always talking about have that notebook right near your computer that has all your login info for each site and then by date – what offers you signed up for, how much you should earn from that offer, did you pay shipping, is it a trial offer – is so – what is the link to cancel, how many days to cancel. Jot that stuff down!! Don't be a fool. There is a method to the madness if you want to earn online shopping – but it's worth the trouble.

You will get the hang of it….and guess what else? You'll start earning points (to redeem for cool gift certificates, cash and more) and checks! Between the programs below I earn $500 a month! That more than I was making in full time radio after gas and daycare expenses! I do it all from home, coffee cup in my hand and sometimes slippers on my feet. My cat lays on my desk purring and napping, the dog lays at the floor next to me, I play spa music….the kids are at school….and I fire up my computer and earn money shopping – real money!

Tonight we are going to Olive Garden for dinner with a $50 gift certificate I earned. And with a $25 check I earned, I'm treating everyone to a movie afterward.

So even if you're wanting just some extra mad money – KEEP the day job and just start doing this type of “earn money shopping” online part-time and see what happens.

You might just be pleasantly surprised if you go about it the smart way.

Here are the money making programs I use:

Honey
– Honey is always at my side, whether I am ordering a pizza from Papa Johns, or buying a new shoes.
Rakuten
-I use Rakuten for cashback on everything from renewing my domain names on GoDaddy to buying Quickbooks for my business.
MyPoints
– They offer coupons, discounts and cashback.
FusionCash
– They'll pay you for doing trail offers and small tasks online.
Swagbucks
– Have used them since the beginning and I cannot tell you how many gift cards I have earned! A LOT. Worth doing the dailies every day! The points add up quickly.
Apps:
Ibotta
– Pays you to grocery shop. Not only pays you to shop, but gives you coupons too. So easy. Phone app.

These are all great ways to snag rewards, cash and gifts. Through these programs I can earn money shopping and end up with gift cards for Starbucks, PayPal and even Wal-mart. I have a problem with spending $4 on a coffee – but I love Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Iced Mochas. I use my reward points or SwagBucks and I redeem them for Starbucks gift cards and there ya go! It's no cost to me. Try it…you'll love the rewards you get.
