Earn $8.00 an Article Writing for Break Studios

I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities to earn additional work at home income. So, even though I hadn’t heard much about Break Studios, I decided to sign up for their program and see it they’re legit, and if working for them could help pay my bills.

What They Are Looking For

Break Studios is looking for writers. If you’re willing to write, all you have to do is fill out the application and they’ll welcome you with open arms. It only took me a few minutes to fill out the application. In addition to providing my name and address I had to upload a copy of my resume, provide a brief bio of myself, and submit a writing sample. Once I submitted all of this information, it only took a few minutes for my application to be approved.  (You can check out more writing opportunities online that I've found.  I've also got a list of blogging jobs from home too that you can look over.)

What Happens Next

As soon as my application was approved, I was able to start claiming assignments from a surprisingly large content pool. After trying a few places were the available assignments were few and far between, seeing this much available work was a pleasant surprise.

The company has created four different types of projects. These types are:
• How-to
• Best of Articles
• About Articles
• Strategy Articles

Another thing I really like about Break Studios is that they let me claim several articles at a time, up to ten. This means that I always have something I can be work on when other avenues of work have temporarily dried up. After I have completed a project, I submit it. The editors have 72 hours to review my work. Provided you follow the very specific guidelines, the work will be approved.
Break Studios expects each of the articles you submit to be between 250 and 700 words.

Break Studios does have some projects that have been labeled adult content and will deal with sexual topics. If you choose to accept these projects you do have the opportunity to use a pen name.

Earning Potential

The interesting thing about Break Studios is that they don’t pay by the word, but have a flat rate for each article, which is $8.00. The great thing about this is that if you want, you can write a long detailed article, but you will never feel compelled to pad it with useless information.

In order to work for Break Studios you need to have a valid PayPal account. The company pays every two weeks.

Personally, I think that Break Studios is a great opportunity for anyone with good writing skills and who wants to earn a living while working from their home.

breakstudios.break.com They are now owned by DefyMedia. The only info I can really find as far as freelance work for them is through FlexJobs.

I really like your website, as I can easily navigate to the specific areas that interest me. I’ve been interested in trying work at home projects for years. I’m really interested in working with Break Studios. What kind of writing experience would a person need to be considered for this company? I have written a few fan fiction stories for fun on the Fanfiction.com website. I really love writing. Are you aware of any writing websites that offer training online for aspiring writers? Thanking you in advance for your help.

I was glad to come across this post. I did a lot of work for this company in late 2010 and they had seemed to go “belly up”. Glad they are back at it. I had an amazing experience with them.
