AVTranz is a service that’s actively seeking people who can translate court documents. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for another way to supplement a work at home income with additional transcription work. AVTranz Specializes in Court Records

AVTranz deals exclusively with court records. The good news is that the information you’ll be transcribing can be quite interesting and varied. The downside is that since you’re going to be transcribing audio files from a courtroom setting, they are not always as clear as they could be. You need to be willing to patiently listen to the same section of audio file over and over again to make sure you get it just right. Plan things so that you can work for a period of the day when your home is very quiet.

Not For Everyone

Don’t assume that just because you’re interested in doing transcription work that you’ll be qualified to work for AVTranz. The company is very picky about the type of people they’re willing to work with. Not only do you have to be able to turn in accurate transcription on time, you also have to be familiar with legal terminology and have some experience with transcribing verbatim court transcripts.

You should have your own translation equipment on hand and have a working knowledge of standard court procedures to help you make sense of the files. As with any transcription job, you also need a basic ability to work with MS Word other simple transcription templates. You also need to have a good sense of discretion and the ability to adhere to deadlines.

The Bottom Line

AVTranz is a legit source of work at home income. Although they don’t hire every single person who fills out the online application, if they accept you into the program, you will find that the work is very steady and that AVTranz pays quite well and very regularly.
