FREELANCE WORK
Freelance Work at Home Jobs
Taking
Advantage of the Freelance Work Craze

What I like about freelance work?
As a “Freelance - er” I not only have the luxury of working from my home, I have
complete control over what work I choose to do. A “Free Agent” is an individual
who works on a contract or freelance basis by either telecommuting or working on
site if they want. Unless your boss is willing to allow you to work from home,
the next best way to telecommute is to do freelance work. As a freelance Production
Assistant, I work 100% from my home and pay my own taxes, the pay is excellent
and I am able to be home with my children. Freelance work type jobs range from accounting
to web design and everything in between. I have seen employers looking for
people to do Internet research, data entry, editing/writing manuals and much
more! I will show you the BEST places on the Internet to find these jobs, create
a successful “portfolio” and bid on the freelance work offered.
Freelancing is probably the quickest and the best way to get working from home.
Millions of people across the world are freelancing successfully and making
great money doing it as well. If you truly want to get started on your way to
working from home, I highly suggest visiting everyone of these websites,
submitting your resume/portfolio and actively bidding on job offers (projects).
Here are some of the hottest freelance work websites on the web, I have has positive
feedback from all of them and I highly recommend becoming a member and
submitting your resume and skill set. It doesn’t matter what field you are in,
there will probably be a project right up your alley. Once you reach these
sites, don’t let the new terminology confuse you or deter you from signing up
and getting your resume out there. Be persistent and continually update your
resume when you acquire my skills and experience. As a Freelance Professional,
you are offering “services”, you DO NOT need to own a business or be licensed.
You simply need to be able to perform the job you are bidding on!

- I've heard wonderful success stories with this site.
Now it takes more then just signing up as a member, it is crucial to submit your
skill set and let the employer know you are the perfect person for the project.
Freelance jobs are called “projects”, because they are done on a deadline and
for a certain amount of time (usually with a contract). You will most likely be
working on a 1099 basis, and it is very possible for the employer to keep hiring
you for future projects! So, it is pertinent that your skills reflect your
abilities. I review MANY resumes and 75% of them are done so poorly, I am amazed
they would even send it out to an employer. Get the skinny on writing a good
resume and
cover letter
right here at MoneyMakingMommy.
Once you have submitted and knockout portfolio, you can now in complete
confidence “bid” on the projects. The word ”biding” confuses most people. No,
you are not paying to get the job, you are offering the employer a price you are
willing to accept for the completed project. Example: MMM Inc. needs someone to
retype up an employee manual within 10 days. MMM Inc. is offering someone
$200.00 to complete the project. Here is where the bidding comes into play, you
as the Free Agent are free to bid on the project, you might come up with a bid
like this, ” I can do that for $150.00 and have it done in 6 days!” The better
the bid, the more likely you are to get the job. But, don’t overdue it! Be sure
you can have it done in 6 days and it is worth the $150.00 to complete the job.
There are millions of projects out there, and there are millions of happy and
successful Freelancers working on them right from the comfort of their home
office! So, if you are tired of searching for an employer to hire you in the
traditional way and allow you to work from home, try this route out and see how
it goes. Who knows, you might be working from home sooner then you think and
joining the freelance work craze!!
