Freelance jobs are called “projects”, because they are done on a deadline and for a certain amount of time (usually with a contract). You will most likely be working on a 1099 basis, and it is very possible for the employer to keep hiring you for future projects! So, it is pertinent that your skills reflect your abilities. Here is where the bidding comes into play, you as the Free Agent are free to bid on the project, you might come up with a bid like this, ” I can do that for $150.00 and have it done in 6 days!” The better the bid, the more likely you are to get the job. But, don’t overdue it! Be sure you can have it done in 6 days and it is worth the $150.00 to complete the job.
