Adme Review [Android Users – Snag Some Easy Cash]

Adme Android App

Andriod Users Get All the Luck…

I'm a hardcore iPhone user. I have been since the beginning of iPhones. And my contract is up and I have an iPhone5, but honestly… I'm thinking about jumping ship and snagging a Samsung Galaxy. Why you ask? Because I'm constantly seeing great ways for Andriod users to earn cash with their phones. Programs like this for iPhone… are slim to none.

So as I sit and ponder what to do about my current iPhone upgrade situation — let me tell all you Android users about another great way to make cash with that darn Android phone of yours!

Paid for Doing What You Already Do

I don't even want to count how many times a day I unlock my phone screen. I do it… A LOT. Like OCD-weird-a-lot. But hey, no judging here. We all have our crazy quirks. So Android users can earn doing this very thing. Unlock cellphone screen and earn. That easy. The app is free. It's called Adme. Basically, when you unlock your phone screen, Adme displays an ad to you. Big whoop. I really don't care about ads. I really don't. People get huffy about ads — but they are just part of life. And every day I feel like I discover cool things through ads. Like… did you know, that if you are a DirecTV customer and AT&T customer — you get UNLIMITED data on your cellphone. There's fine print — but I had no idea about this and guess what… I am a DirecTV and AT&T customer. I found out about this through an online ad.

So back to Adme and unlocking your Android phone screen. You're not paid more for interacting with the ads. So you're not required to click, watch… tweet, like… or anything like that. Nice! The app is only open to the United States. (Right now anyway.) The app DOES use data on your phone!!! Keep that in mind paahhlleeeze. They do have a way for you to set the data so that you only allot so much for the Adme app to use. So I'd set a cap for sure. (You might also want to check out the Fronto App, it's another lock screen app that you can earn cash with.)

The payout is via PayPal and you and cashout at $10.00.

Here's a video from Adme that explains it a bit more for you.

Final Thoughts on Adme

Because I can't actually test out the program myself — I can't give you my hands-on review. I do think it sounds like a great way to pick-up enough cash each month to grab a free Starbucks latte or two, maybe a movie ticket or even some gas in your car. It's not going to make you rich. But if you do a program like this and maybe Google's Screenwise Trends, which pays $3 a week — you've got a little moola for what?? Just using your phone!

There are some negative sides to any program like this. Namely privacy issues. Adme does believe in transparency and I found the following on their app download page in GooglePlay.

**Privacy Options Explained**

Adme believes in transparency.

“Read phone status and identity”
To know whether or not you are in a phone call so we can temporarily disable Adme

“Location (GPS and network-based)”
For targeted localized ads.

“Modify or delete the contents of your SD card”
For temporarily storing ad images on your phone (to reduce data usage)

“Find accounts on the device” & “Use accounts on the device”
To use Google to register your account.

“Run at startup”
Running Adme on phone boot

I'm thinking this is typical of apps like these. If you're not super concerned about their privacy policy, I say go for it. I know if iPhone had a program like this, I would certainly give it a whirl. Again — there is no way to get rich off this program. And Adme monitors the app for hackers that try and do 100's of unlocks a day to boost their earnings. But I think it sounds like a pretty easy way to make passive mad money.
