Paid Surveys are one of the most popular work at home income opportunities advertised on the Internet today. When I first decided to leave the rat race of corporate America to live the dream, I searched the Internet and came across several companies offering to pay me to take surveys, participate in focus groups, and mystery shop.

The "pitch" sounded pretty good, I could make between $15-$150 per hour to simply give my opinion, participate in focus groups and mystery shop for major corporations. Well, I am very opinionated so I new I would love doing surveys over the Internet. As for the focus groups, I thought that would be a great experience to give feedback as a company developed it products! Mystery shopping allowed me to play detective which would be a blast, and get freebies on top of it.

I was sold. I paid a small fee and signed up. The surveys came immediately – so fast I couldn't keep up. At the beginning I had to weed through a lot a junk and get used to how everything worked. They always told me up front what I would earn whether it was cash, gift cards or points towards product purchases. A lot of times at the end of the survey the sponsors would try to sell me something, but I simply clicked "No Thanks" and moved on.

After a while I began getting products from Bath and Body Works and other companies to test. I was able to keep the products I tested. Then the phone started to ring weekly. Companies called me to participate in focus groups. They offered me between $75 and $175 for the project which could last between 2-4 hours.

Even though at the beginning I was skeptical, in time, online surveys, focus groups and mystery shopping are definitely a solid income opportunity. If you are looking for full time work, you will need to do something along with this as it is part time income.

Paid surveys, focus groups and mystery shopping are fun, easy and allow you to help companies achieve their goals.
