SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION SOFTWARE
Recommended Search Engine Optimization Software
Search Engine Optimization

Are you looking for a little help with your latest search engine optimization
game plan? Aren't we all??
Search engine algorithms seem to change like the weather. One day you think you
know how to approach and the next it's dead wrong.
Nothing kills momentum for your sales and traffic like NO traffic to your
website. Being in the top 10 for your niche keywords is certainly a lofty goal
-- but not out of the question.
I've owned 12 websites over the years. With each year I've learned more and more
about marketing both offline and online. Of course that free, steady flow of
traffic coming form the search engines has always been one of the best forms of
marketing that I could ask for.
Taking the time to research the search engines, make a list of your niche
keywords and design a professional site will all go hand in hand with building
success.
I've used several software applications over the years to help me. I've also
used free SEO tools online as well when I could find good ones.
Webposition Gold
is one that I used for years. It took me awhile to learn it and
understand it (not to mention take advantage of all it had to offer!). But it's
certainly worthwhile if you're thinking of going the software route.
Currently I use
SEO Elite. It's a newer program and I
like it. Though I've only just begun to utilize it, I've noticed changes for the
better on the test pages I've applied it to. It's a bit pricey - but I feel the
traffic I gain from it after using it is worth the pay off, and it's A LOT
cheaper than trying to hire someone for SEO! I went that route one time for 6
months! NEVER again -- for a small business like mine, I simply can't justify
the expense. I don't make enough and I wasn't impressed with the company I went
with. If you have the money - try it...go for it. I just found it too expensive
and not worth it.
Of course, nothing beats not spending a dime and just trying to reach the top
ten on your own. There are endless articles online regarding SEO and tips in
that area. There are countless message boards and forums as well. We have a nice
SEO board right here at Money Making Mommy. You can join our SEO chat at any
time.
Try not to get too stressed right out of the gate. You'll only be disappointed
if you put tons of pressure on yourself to be #1 in the first week, month or 3
months. It takes time to have the spiders crawl your site. Keep adding new
content and the spiders will come back often. It's like food for them - and they
love it!
But if software sounds like the path you'd like to tackle next, look over all
that is out there. I only mention two programs here that I have actually tried;
there are MANY more. Make sure they come with a manual and support of some kind.
Of course search engine optimization software is not the magic bullet. It's just
one tool. But it can also teach you a lot about the basics of SEO. You'll start
to see a pattern and gear your pages naturally toward that optimum criteria.
Nothing is 100%, but some things like software can make the path less bumpy!
Good Luck!
