Data Entry and a Free Job Online Idea

Have you been poking under every rock on the Net to try and find a way to earn online doing data entry type work? I am sure you've come across programs that offer "employment" - but the catch it...they want you to PAY to get a job with them. Pay to get a job?? OK....that's weird.

Are we not all a little bitter about the amount of scams out there? I've been taken for $34.99 about 4 times trying to check out some of these so-called data entry "jobs". I'm actually embarrassed to tell you that. But I have no other way to "try" some of these programs than to pay and see how it works and what has to be done.

Somewhere along the lines though.....I got jaded. Very jaded. I believed in nothing. Stopped looking for almost 7 months. I'd talk to my friends in the "work at home arena" about data entry work or programs that earn and they were trying different things. Some were working....and some were simply scams.

However, I did start missing the "hunt". So back in the trenches I went.

Wow....what a difference 7 months makes. There are a lot of "do-able" free programs out there. Many are truly basic data entry. If you can type - you can do them.

I did a lot of research on a program called "Project Payday". I've read the good, the bad and the ugly regarding Project Payday. I've talked with the owners of the program. I've talked to people that have negative comments and positive experiences.

After taking it all into consideration - and because it's FREE, I decided to try it.

I simply went to the Project Payday website and signed up. The basics or premise is that you sign up for offers that interest you. Simply click on say...."Blockbuster" (I like movies!) - and fill out their offer. This is key - many offers do not require a credit card, some do, but anytime you sign up for a trial offer - be sure to keep track of when you signed up and your sign up info. You'll want to cancel any free trial offers before the trial period is over. But many of these trial offers pay good money. Some offers might ask for a delivery fee of a few bucks - but you can typically make double that back in pay from Project Payday. I paid $4.50 for an offer and made $10.00 - so I cleared $5.50 and got something free to boot! They offer rebates on shipping and handling that earn you as well!

I was impressed with their training materials and videos as well. Can't say I've had very many programs in the past that were free that offered help and support. Two members even did their own video and they walk you through step-by-step.

They even offer two more way to earn that don't even require YOU to fill out offers.

There will always be people the poo-poo everything. ALWAYS. I started to turn into one of those people. Thank goodness I didn't, because on my way to making $258 my first month with Project Payday! I tracked how many hours I spent during the month - down to the minute!  (8 hours and 42 minutes!) I tracked all the offers. I marked which I used a cc for, and which I didn't. I wrote all trial offer deadlines in RED and how to cancel the trial offer for easy reference. This isn't rocket science - but you have to be willing and smart about it. Common sense smart.

Ultimately you have to decide for yourself. If it had cost me money to join - I can't say I'd been as tempted. I don't mind paying a few bucks....maybe $5 tops, but this one was free. I had nothing to lose. And a side perk - I've met some really cool people that are all making money from home with programs like Project Payday.

Offers range from .50 to $50 - just track what you're doing.

My experience in the end is that I did earn. I earned over $200 in one month for around 8 hours work. Most people have to work an entire week to clear $200. I am not rich - so $200 for me is a decent amount of money. I was able to sign my 6 year old up for dance lessons. Something I would not have been able to do without that money.
